Happy 80th Nakajima San

Haruo Nakajima turned 80 on January 1st.  For those who are not familiar, Mr. Nakajima was the actor in the Godzilla suit from 1954 - 1972.  He was the person who came up with every movement, tail shake and dance that Godzilla performed all the way back to the very first Godzilla movie.

Not only did Mr. Nakajima bring Godzilla to life but he also gave us Rodan, Mogera, Varan, Mothra, Baragon, King Kong and Gaira, the Green Gargantua.

Armand Vaquer has put together a blog so that fans may send their birthday greetings.  He will see to it that his daughter Sonoe receives them.
